Schnabel’s Joanna Mason Selected for DFI’s Women in Deep Foundations Grant

The Deep Foundations Institute’s (DFI) Women in Deep Foundations Committee selected Joanna Mason of Schnabel Geostructural Design & Construction as one of the recipients of the 2022 DFI Educational Trust Women in Deep Foundations Professional Development Grants. Joanna, who earned her BS and MS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), has been with Schnabel as a Project Manager in their D.C. office since 2006. During her time with the company, she has become an integral part of their Group North, which designs and manages a variety of earth retention projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. Joanna’s peers will tell you that she is a strong advocate for women in construction and always looking for opportunities to recruit and network with women who are interested in being a part of the construction industry.
